As Living Hope Missionary Church of Dunfee prepares to call its next Lead Pastor, we will consider practical steps within the process. From 2 Timothy 4:1-5 we will see three qualities of a successful Lead Pastor and identify what all pastors need.

Spiritual Gift-Based Ministry

Spiritual Gift-based Ministry is the way God intends His Church to function as one body (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4). Each person who puts their faith in Jesus is given spiritual gifts. It is each individual’s responsibility to accept and align your spiritual gifts with the part of ministry God intends for you to serve at Living Hope Missionary Church.

Holistic Small Groups

Holistic Small Groups are places safe enough for individuals to own and reveal their brokenness with others that have been called out by Jesus to be children of God. Our small groups are meant to help one another grow together with the indiscriminate love of Jesus.

Membership and Baptism Sunday

In a day when the Word of God is often watered down or abandoned altogether, Living Hope Missionary Church of Dunfee remains fully committed to the inerrancy of Scripture and the authority of the Word of God. Today we will consider the basic tenets of our faith and hear testimonies from our newest member and baptism candidates.

A New Land

PEACE: Recognizing God’s Presence Among Us

True peace that passes all understanding is available to each of us when we recognize God’s presence among us. We miss the true peace of Christmas when we become: too engaged, too enthralled, too upset, too nervous, and too busy trying to fix things our own way.

JOY

When we speak of joy at Christmas time, it means different things to different people. Christmas brings glee, nostalgia, and excitement into the hearts of some who would describe this experience as joy. For many others, joy feels hard to reach as the Christmas season triggers reminders of loved ones lost, difficulties meeting obligations, or deep personal feelings of isolation and loneliness. For everyone, there is a light in the darkness and the darkness will not overcome it.
