A vision to strive for connects us to the future. Do you feel connected to a future that is an ending of time, sin, sorrow, death, and place as we currently experience it? Dunfee Missionary Church’s vision is manifest at the Cross. It is at the Cross that we meet the glory of God. The Cross points us to be devoted to: Him, one another, and reaching the world for Jesus.

A person’s decision to follow Jesus is very personal, but it is not meant to be private. It is a decision that should be celebrated. Jesus opens the heavens in Luke 15:10 for us to see the angels of God celebrating over each sinner who repents and begins a relationship with Him. Likewise, we are to celebrate their commitment in baptism. This is the third part of “A Mission to Live For.”

This week we look at the second part of “A Mission to Live For.” “Show them Jesus,” requires us to debunk the very thought that some people are far from God. On the cross, Jesus finished the work of reconciliation for all. What people need are friends that accept them where they are and “show them Jesus.”

Today’s message focuses on “truth.” To live a transparent life, we should be able to answer these questions: What is truth? What happens when truth does not matter? What happens when truth does matter? How do we discover truth? Truth separates us from the darkness of this world to bring light and glory to God.

Loving correction matters because our life is a heart issue. This message helps us understand how our natural heart is hardened, and what the results are of a hardened heart. Faith alone in Christ alone is salvation!

Love matters to Jesus. He desires His Church to grow up into His likeness. He calls us to a transparent work in the love of the Great "I Am" - the First and the Last; the Living One; the One who holds the keys of death and Hades. Love Matters!
