In Deuteronomy 17, God is giving Moses guidelines for when Israel asks for a king, which happens some 400 years later.  We will explore God’s plan and His desire to be our King today.

Remembering God's Promises

We are now in the book of Deuteronomy. The people are about to enter the Promised Land. Moses reminds them to be faithful to the covenant to to remember God’s promises. 

City of Refuge

We are finishing the Book of Numbers/Through the Wilderness. When the people cross the Jordan, they are to set up designated cities to serve as “Cities of Refuge.” Let us dig into the meaning and purpose. 

War with Midian

God is taking his vengeance on Midian. The Midianites brought evil into the camp and they too must pay.
